Product Description of CALCIUM GLYCEROPHOSPHATE CAS#27214-00-2

Calcium glycerophosphate is a white crystalline powder. It is odorless, almost tasteless, slightly bitter, and hygroscopic. It loses its water of crystallization at 130°C and decomposes above 170°C. At 25°C, each gram dissolves in approximately 50 mL of water. It dissolves more readily in water at lower temperatures, and its aqueous solution is alkaline. Citric acid or lactic acid can increase its solubility in water. It is almost insoluble in boiling water and insoluble in ethanol.
